2023 marks the 49th anniversary for the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival! Every year, hundreds of thousands of people celebrate at the festival’s many offerings. Daily concerts at festival stages are scattered along 30+ blocks of the boardwalk and feature 20+ performances from local, regional, and national recording artists.

Neptune Festival itself has been named one of the top 100 festivals in the US and is annually voted one of the top 10 festivals by the Southeast Tourism Society. Stroll along the boardwalk and discover new artists, listen to live music and enjoy the fares of local vendors. We hope to see you there!

Young and old surfers alike take to the ocean in this surf showdown. With prizes to be had, make your mark in the surf of Neptune Festival month! This event is produced in conjunction with the Eastern Surfing Association, but you do not need to be an ESA member to participate.
